Invitations are generally priced per set. A standard invitation set includes the invitation, response card, outer envelope and response card envelope along with return address printing on both envelopes. All invitations come completely assembled.

The invitations displayed on the website range in price from $2.50 to over $7.00 depending on how it is customized.  Save the date cards and announcements start at $1.15.  Changes in color of the paper, ribbon or print will not affect the price of the invitation. However adding embellishments (Swarovski rhinestones, ribbon, wax seals etc.) changing invitation size, opting for letterpress or raised printing, paper type and style or adding map cards, reception card, accommodation card, menu, save the date card etc. will affect the price of your invitation set.

Ordering Tips

A good rule of thumb is to order about half the amount of invitations as the amount of people you are inviting to the event, plus an additional 5-15. So for a wedding with 120 guests you could order anywhere between 65 and 85 invitations, this will cover any person possibly forgotten off the guest list or can serve as keepsakes for yourself, family and friends. You may also wish to order some extra envelopes, in case of addressing errors.

Budgeting

On average 2-5% of a wedding budget is allocated for stationary. This can include your invitations, postage, save the date cards, seating chart, place cards and thank you cards.
