Ink to Paper understands that each event and each client has their own personal ideas, objectives and budget to consider; because of this all orders will begin with a consultation. Consultations can take place in person, over the phone or via email, whichever is more convenient and comfortable for you. The consultation allows you to freely discuss the details of the event including your vision for the event stationary. This part of the process is our opportunity to brainstorm ideas that will provide a stationary fit for your occasion. Feel free to bring diagrams, colour schemes, and pictures that can help express your vision and aid in the design process.

Once the consultation and brainstorming has been complete we can begin prototyping design styles for your event. At this time a design fee is required (design fee is not applicable when ordering stationary currently displayed on the website). The design fee is non-refundable, however if you decide to order your custom stationary from Ink to Paper the fee will be credited to your account. The purpose of the design fee is to insure that your event is scheduled into our production time and affords you one to three sample invitations (mock-up’s) sent to you in PDF format through email or fax, based on our discussions during the consultation. At this point in the creation of your stationary we can accommodate many different design changes. This can include changing type style, invitation color, stationary size and wording among many other customizable options. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your stationary, so take all the time you need to decide.
If you decide not to order from Ink to Paper we maintain the rights to the design as well as the design fee.
Once you have chosen the stationary that best fits your personal and event style a Proof of Approval is signed, indicating that the type style, design, and wording are correct and a 50% deposit is collected. Once the Proof of Approval and deposit are received, we begin the production of your distinctive invitation!
*Design changes cannot be accommodated after production has begun.
Each piece of stationary is hand assembled at Ink to Paper and are all inspected to insure that no detail is overlooked. On average 3-6 weeks is needed to complete an order, however production time can vary depending on the quantity ordered as well as details involved in each piece. We may be able to accommodate rush orders, please contact us to inquire.
Let Ink to Paper take care of everything with our Address and Stuff service. This service involves addressing the outer envelopes with your choice of type style and colour (consider readability when choosing font style and colour) as well as stuffing the envelopes so that when you receive your order all you need to do is add postage and mail!
